THE 2007 GIS CONFERENCE
 

 

The 2007 GIS Conference was held last March 29 and 30, 2007 at Waterfront, Insular Hotel Davao City.

The said event was conducted by the Davao Integrated Development Program (DIDP). It aims to establish a network of GIS-based information among the DIDP PMO and the 9 DIDP member LGUs.

The objectives of Davao Integrated Development Program (DIDP):

- To come up with profile of the DIDP member-LGUs on GIS in terms of existing resources, level of application and future need.

     

- To identify possible bottlenecks/constraints to the implementation of the DIDP GIS program.

- To formulate an assistance package for the LGUs for them to be able to establish a Geographic Information System that is sustainable, functional, and effective.
