MALÅ GeoScience specializes in Ground Penetrating Radar techniques (GPR) and manufacture the most versatile, modern and productive ground penetrating radar tool in the world, the RAMAC/GPR which is used worldwide by engineers & geologists.
The RAMAC System operates with 16-bit technology providing you with the cleanest, highest resolution data available. Featuring a pulse repetition rate of 100 kHz, more than 200 scans per second can be recorded and allows stacking while operating in continuous mode. Due to the high dynamic range of the system only raw data from the receiver sample is digitally stored. This makes gain and filter settings more a matter of choice rather than a critical operating step.
The RAMAC/GPR Advantage
One Radar Control Unit featuring a 32-bit processor is all you need to operate surface antennas ranging from 10 MHz to 1 GHz and our 100 and 250 MHz borehole antennas. Whatever the application the RAMAC System can handle the project at lower initial rate.
User Friendly
From the simple user interface to the superior lightweight ergonomic design, no other system is easier to handle in the field than the RAMAC System. Low power consumption allows up to 4 hours of continuous portable operation. Optional extended fiber optic cables allow operation from a vehicle for unlimited survey time. Seamless integration of a Global Positioning System (GPS) and a Geographic Information System (GIS) provides you with unmatched survey control and precision anywhere in the world. RAMAC/GPR is a multi-purpose tool. Equipped with suitable antennas it can be used for almost any subsurface detection problem.
